Avengers Two: Wonder Man & Beast #2
In "Nightmares and Memories," Wonder Man and Beast head to Los Angeles on a mission of redemption, confronting past mistakes as their journey takes a sudden turn at a Hollywood Gala. There, they cross paths with Bob O'Bryan and Diane Cummings, unaware that a hidden threat is already at work—Lotus has taken control of O'Bryan, setting off a violent chain reaction that erupts from a parked semi-trailer truck. Written by Roger Stern and brought to life with dynamic art by Mark Bagley, with inks by Greg Adams and colors by Tom Smith, this 2000 Marvel issue blends personal reckoning with escalating danger. The cover, also by Bagley and Adams, captures the tension of the moment.
