“Triple Threat”

"Triple Threat" kicks off with a high-stakes heist when the Vulturions snatch a briefcase containing sensitive gamma bomb data from Baron Von Blitzschlag. In response, a trio of Scarlet Spiders—each clad in red-and-blue suits and swinging through the city—step into the spotlight, drawing immediate attention from Peter Parker, who’s less than thrilled to see rivals in his trademark style. As the three clones battle their way through the chaos, Peter finds himself reluctantly teaming up with them, sparking a wave of questions about identity, legacy, and who truly deserves the name Spider-Man. With Stefano Caselli’s dynamic art and Dan Slott’s sharp scripting, this issue delivers a thrilling, identity-bending twist on the web-slinger mythos.

When the Vulturions steal a briefcase full of gamma bomb secrets from Baron Von Blitzschlag, a trio of Scarlet Spiders swing into action and reveal their existence to the world. Peter Parker is not amused and takes off after his spider-imitators but ends up helping them fight their common foes. With so many spider-guys swinging around, questions begin to be raised as to whether Peter is really the one true Spider-Man. Justice tries to get to the bottom of the M.V.P. mystery but does not find out that the Scarlet Spiders are actually clones of the fallen Initiative member.
