Part of Marvel's 2012 "Shattered Heroes" banner, this issue puts Storm front and center in a striking pose, her white hair billowing as crackling lightning surges from both hands. Behind her, Iron Man, Spider-Woman, and Captain America emerge from a smoke-filled rubble field, lending the scene a real sense of a team tested to its limits. Daniel Acuña's cover work is confident and beautifully composed, making this a standout chapter in Bendis, Guedes, Magalhaes, and Keith's run on Earth's Mightiest Heroes.
