This December 1958 Charlton war title delivers a vivid airborne assault straight to the cover, with Dick Giordano's linework capturing a helmeted soldier charging forward with a submachine gun while the sky fills with descending parachutes and circling aircraft. Fellow troops advance through barbed wire and explosions below, and an enemy gunner returns fire from the lower right, giving the whole scene a convincing sense of chaos and momentum. With Joe Gill writing and Sam Glanzman on art inside, "Stuka-Meister" promises the kind of gritty WWII action that made Attack a reliable ten-cent thrill in 1958.
