Attack #4 is a war anthology featuring multiple stories. "Fighting Leatherneck" depicts soldiers in combat during what appears to be a Pacific theater operation. "I Was a P.O.W." recounts Lieutenant James Jordan's firsthand account of a daring prison break from the Nazi concentration camp Stalag VII, where two American officers escaped and evaded capture by the Gestapo. "Merrill's Marauders" follows the 5307th Composite Unit's final engagement at the Myitkina airfield in Burma during May 1944, where they fought to overcome Japanese forces and clear the way for the Ledo Road. The fourth story depicts Korean War aerial combat, with pilots engaging in dogfights and discussing their experiences flying combat missions.
