The Agents of Atlas look gloriously retro-pulp on this Carlos Pacheco and Cam Smith cover, with a caped, bracelet-wearing airborne hero soaring above a classic red convertible packed with a motley crew — a gorilla with a pistol, a glamorous blonde, a hulking robot, and a green-skinned figure — all barreling down the road against a crackling lightning-filled sky. Writer Jeff Parker continues "Department Zero Part 2" with artist Ramón Rosanas bringing the interior pages to life, keeping the team's wonderfully odd, genre-blending energy going strong. If you're looking for a 2010 Marvel book that earns its five-star blurb, this rollicking second issue makes a very convincing case.
