“Part Twelve: Revelations!”

A massive, helmet-crowned figure looms over the star-field with one enormous blue-gloved hand reaching downward toward a lone armored hero — weapons drawn and staring upward — as the cover boldly asks: "Who Is the Dark Destroyer?" That cosmic menace framed against drifting planets makes for one of the more visually striking covers José Luis García-López produced for this series in 1984. And if the main story weren't enough, the issue also promises a Hukka solo story by Keith Giffen — a fun bonus for fans of the team's furry companion.
