Wolverine is in West Berlin and is being followed by the KGB. Wolverine walks past Peter Parker and identifies him as Spider-Man. He then tracks Spider-Man to his hotel and forces Peter to follow him, even though he has no costume. When Peter returns to the hotel he discovers that Ned is already dead. Spider-Man decides to stick around and gets a costume from a costume shop. He tracks a tracer he tagged Wolverine with, only to discover that Wolverine is one step ahead. Wolverine discovers Charlie, who turns out to be a woman, and she takes him back to her large house.
