During a mock fight between Spider-Man and Silk in New York (to lend credence to Silk's undercover role as a villain working for Black Cat), they spot a lightning flash in the Forest Hills area. Investigating its source, they encounter Chronosaurus Rex, who is dressed up in weaponised suit with a dinosaur-like mask. After a brief confrontation, Chronosaurus activates the suit's time-travel function and goes into the past, bringing the nearby Spider-Man and Silk in the process. In a slightly earlier Forest Hills, the three are confronted by agents of Hydra, which made the suit, and evade them.
