Part four of the "New Creation" arc finds the Top Cow Universe in suitably ominous territory, with a silver-masked, red-eyed figure in serpentine armor confronting a pair of snarling, fang-bared creatures from the shadows — one looming large behind her, another coiled at her gauntleted arm alongside a dangling silver crucifix. Ron Marz and Stjepan Sejic bring a genuinely unsettling atmosphere to this chapter, where ancient power and monstrous threat seem to share uncomfortably close quarters. A striking cover that captures the brooding intensity the Artifacts series does so well.
