Ten issues into this thirteen-part Top Cow epic, and the stakes have never felt higher. Stjepan Šejić's cover arranges a striking ensemble of artifact-bearers — armored warriors, a winged draconic figure, a red-haired woman, a dark-clad swordsman, and a bare-chested figure among others — seated along a crumbling ledge against a backdrop of burning, smoke-wreathed buildings, an image that carries unmistakable weight. Ron Marz and Jeremy Haun are deep in the homestretch of this ambitious crossover, and this penultimate stretch promises the kind of convergence that the Top Cow Universe has been building toward.
