Arrgh! #5
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeMarvel's horror-comedy anthology gets delightfully absurd in this 1975 issue, with a cover by Ross Andru and Mike Esposito that sets the tone perfectly: a gaunt, cape-clad Count Varicose reclines in his coffin on a psychiatrist's couch while a befuddled doctor — himself looking a bit monstrous — asks how long the Count has suffered the "delusion" that he's a vampire. The gag lands beautifully, with bats fluttering in the background and a full moon looming through the window to complete the scene. Inside, the fun continues with stories featuring the Invisible Mr. Mann and something called "The Something from Another World," making this a genuinely entertaining package of Marvel's lighter side.
