Archie vs. Predator #2

The tagline says "Back in Riverdale, safe and sound!" — but the cover by Dan Parent tells a very different story. A fully unmasked, snarling Predator crouches in what appears to be Pop's Chocklit Shoppe, blade in hand and a suspicious red puddle on the floor, while Archie, Betty, and Veronica stand just behind the counter looking cheerfully (and blissfully) unaware of the danger lurking right beneath them. It's a brilliantly absurd collision of Riverdale's wholesome charm and sci-fi menace, and issue #2 of 4 makes it clear this crossover has no intention of playing it safe.
