Archie's Pals 'n' Gals #1
In "Beach Nuts," Archie and the gang face off against the elements at the seaside, where a gusty day turns a simple beach outing into a wobbly adventure. When Veronica’s cabana vanishes in the wind, Archie secures it to some wood—only to find their game of canasta swept away by the breeze, leading to an unexpected ride out to sea when the tide rolls in. The story unfolds with the familiar charm of Bob Montana’s art, capturing the chaos and camaraderie of the gang’s seaside misadventure, all rendered in the crisp, clean style of Bill Vigoda’s cover.
