Archie's Pal Jughead Comics #85

Few things motivate Jughead Jones quite like food, and this October 1996 cover by Dan DeCarlo and Alison Flood captures that truth perfectly — Jughead is sprinting full-speed down a suburban street, hat flying off his head, desperately chasing the departing Mr. Softo ice cream truck while two bemused onlookers wonder aloud if he's actually running a race. It's a wonderfully charming snapshot of Riverdale's most food-devoted teenager at his most determined, with the bright, breezy Archie Comics style firing on all cylinders.
