Archie's Pal Jughead Comics #158

Jughead Jones has apparently taken his summer job search in a very particular direction — the cover by Rex W. Lindsey shows our favorite lazybones lounging contentedly in bed while an exasperated adult stands in the doorway demanding answers. Jughead's cheerful defense? There simply weren't any openings for mattress testers, with his loyal dog Hot Dog looking on nearby. It's a perfectly on-brand moment for Riverdale's most enthusiastic advocate for doing as little as possible, and a fun setup for this 2004 issue written by Craig Boldman.
