Archie's Pal Jughead #75
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeA sunny beach setting makes for a perfectly breezy August 1961 cover, as Jughead — crown and all — aims a camera at a beaming Veronica posing in her red swimsuit, while Archie relaxes nearby with a ball and delivers the punchline: "Get another roll!" The lighthearted exchange captures the gang's effortless summer chemistry in that warm, humor-first Archie Series style. Inside, the story "Man Bites Dog" promises more of the comic misadventures that made Jughead one of Riverdale's most entertaining leads.

Jughead is determined to be useful on the baseball team, but he messes up at everything Coach asks him to do. Jughead finds a spare jersey to use and Coach warns him about every one who has worn that jersey. He says he will take him to the cemetery to read the tombstones. Jughead is so scared about it that he runs out through the wall. Coach and Mr. Weatherbee share a laugh and Mr. Weatherbee admits that when his coach tried that on a non-athletic student, that student was Mr. Weatherbee himself.
