Poor Jughead — even in his sleep, girls are the enemy. The cover by Samm Schwartz captures Riverdale's most girl-averse teen burying his face in his pillow while a thought bubble above him shows three swimsuit-clad young women — looking a lot like Betty, Veronica, and a third girl — swarming a hapless male figure, with Jughead's anguished plea "WHEN WILL THIS AWFUL NIGHTMARE END?!?" making his feelings perfectly clear. This 1960 Archie Series gem, with interior work entirely by Joe Edwards, promises the kind of light, cheerful humor that made this title such a reliable treat.
