Archie's Pal Jughead #22

Feb 1954 · Archie · 0.10 USD
“Easel Said Than Done!”

In "Easel Said Than Done!", Jughead tries a clever shortcut by recording his lessons on tape and playing them while he sleeps—only to find his scheme hilariously derailed when Reggie swaps the tape with an old crooner record. The mix-up leads to a classroom chaos where Jughead’s unexpected serenade sends the girls into a daze, leaving Reggie scrambling to cover his prank. Written by Sy Reit and brought to life with vibrant energy by Samm Schwartz, with inks by Red Holmdale and letters by Terry Szenics, this 1954 gem captures the classic charm of Archie’s Pal Jughead. Cover by Samm Schwartz.

Jughead records his lessons on tape and learns them by playing them while he sleeps. Reggie tries this trick by switching Jughead's tape with an old tape of crooner music. However, Jughead recorded History but Reggie was taking a Chemistry test. When he looks in on Jughead's History class, he sees that Jughead has the room of girls in a swoon by singing.
