Archie's Girls Betty and Veronica #312
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeRiverdale school spirit is on full display in this cheerful 1981 entry, with Betty and Veronica decked out in their Riverdale "R" cheerleading uniforms, pom-poms flying as they perform on the sidelines. Meanwhile, a distracted Archie — in full football gear and apparently more interested in the cheerleaders than the game — earns an exasperated "WATCH THE ACTION!" from the coach seated beside him, to which he offers the perfectly logical reply that he is watching the action. Dan DeCarlo's cover art captures that signature Archie Comics warmth and comedic timing that made this series such a long-running favorite.
