“All in a Day's... Work?”

Henry Scarpelli's cover sets a cheerful, road-trip tone as Archie and his pals pile into a red Ford convertible — license plate reading "ARCHIE" — and pull up to a billboard proclaiming Mamaroneck, NY the "Home of Archie Comics," with one enthusiastic passenger declaring it's going to be "a real blast working at Archie Comics!" The setup promises something a little different from the usual Riverdale hijinks, with the gang apparently heading straight to meet the real-life Archie staff in Karen A. Szczuka's story "All in a Day's... Work?" It's a warm, self-aware 1990 treat from the Archie Giant Series that comic fans of any era can appreciate.
