Archie Giant Series Magazine #606
In "Visions of Sugar Plums," Betty’s heartfelt effort to collect food labels for the local orphanage takes an unexpected turn when Veronica’s well-intentioned interference turns her quiet mission into a community-wide phenomenon. With help from an outpouring of generosity, Betty secures a new van for the orphanage, and the gesture brings a surprising moment of connection between the two rivals. Written by George Gladir and brought to life with Dan DeCarlo’s signature style—penciled by Dan DeCarlo and inked by Jim DeCarlo on the cover—this 1990 issue captures the charm and warmth of the Archie universe in a story that’s as sweet as its title suggests.
