The sixth entry in Archie's Giant Series brings holiday cheer in full force with this 1959 oversized special, Archie's Christmas Stocking. Harry Lucey's cover captures a cheerful quintet of Riverdale teens — songbooks in hand, scarves and winter hats bundled against the falling snow — caroling "Deck the Halls" through a candy cane–framed window, with Archie himself peeking out from the title lettering above. At 25 cents, this giant-sized package of yuletide fun, featuring writing by Frank Doyle and art by Bob White, made for a wonderfully generous stocking stuffer in its day.
