Archie Giant Series Magazine #25
In "Jingle Jangled," Archie faces off against Reggie in a holiday showdown to win the coveted roles of Mr. and Mrs. Santa Claus for the school's Christmas party, with Veronica favored to play Mrs. Santa thanks to her band sponsorship. When Archie’s efforts fall flat, the mischievous Jingles returns with his Brownie magic, but his well-intentioned help only leads to increasingly awkward and hilarious setbacks. Written by Frank Doyle and brought to life with Dan DeCarlo’s signature charm—penciled and inked by DeCarlo and Lapick, with lettering by Vincent DeCarlo—this 1964 gem captures the season’s spirit with classic Archie humor. The cover, also by Dan DeCarlo, captures the festive chaos in full swing.

Whoever does the most to help out at the school Christmas party will get to play Mr. and Mrs. Santa Claus. Veronica is the odds-on favorite to be Mrs. Santa Claus because she's paying for the band. After Archie is outdone by Reggie in his attempt to get a tree for the party, Jingles returns, offering to use his Brownie magic to help Archie beat Reggie. But everything Jingles tries just makes Archie lose even more humiliatingly.
