“The Clean Up”

Part of Archie Comics' beloved Giant Series line, this 1970 issue delivers a boatload of laughs with Archie's Jokes. The cover sets the tone perfectly: Archie is caught painting a boat named "Veronica" while a relaxed Jughead lounges nearby, quipping that a boat like this "has a lot of advantages — yeah, you can name it after two girls!" Up top, a small vignette shows Archie strolling past his jalopy in what promises to be another round of Riverdale's finest comedy. At 25 cents, this oversized anthology of humor is vintage Archie fun from cover to cover.
