Archie & Friends All Stars #3
Part of the *Archie & Friends All-Stars* digest series, this 2010 volume puts the spotlight firmly on Chuck Clayton — Riverdale's resident cartooning whiz — as he apparently takes on the role of "Prof. Chuck" in what the blackboard behind him declares a Cartooning Class. The cover, penciled by Fernando Ruiz and inked by Bob Smith, captures a wonderfully chaotic classroom scene: a wide-eyed Chuck reacts to a paper airplane mid-flight while Archie and a crowd of eager students surround him on all sides. Writer Alex Simmons pairs with artist Fernando Ruiz for the interior story "Stick Figures & Grumpy Elves," promising the kind of lighthearted, character-driven fun that makes these All-Stars collections such an easy recommendation for Archie fans of any age.
