“Read Between the Lines”

In "Read Between the Lines," Archie and Veronica face a classroom challenge when their book report assignment takes a bizarre turn—after misreading "War and Peace" as "War and Pieces," they end up watching a sci-fi film instead. Written and illustrated by Dan Parent, with inks by Rich Koslowski, colors by Barry Grossman, and letters by Jack Morelli, this 2006 issue captures the usual humor and heart of the Archie gang, all while keeping the cover by Dan Parent as a playful nod to the mix-up.
