Archie Facsimile Edition #10
In "The Punk," Archie is thrown into panic when Jughead shocks everyone with a full-on mohawk and a leather jacket, but Betty remains unfazed. With Veronica’s help, Archie tries to steer Jughead away from what he fears is a dangerous new path—only to discover Jughead was just digging into a story for the school newspaper, a fact Betty, as editor, had quietly known all along. A sharp, nostalgic look at teenage identity and misjudgment, this 2026 Archie Facsimile Edition features the original art of Stan G. and Rudy Lapick, with colors by Barry Grossman and letters by Bill Yoshida, and a cover by Stan Goldberg.

Archie is alarmed when Jughead goes punk (complete with mohawk), but Betty is unconcerned. Archie (with help from Veronica) tries to save Jughead from falling into a bad crowd, but it turns out Jughead was just researching a story for the school newspaper (which Betty, the paper's editor, knew all along). Ahh, the 80's.
