In "Plague Take It," Reggie spins a wild tale that Midge has a contagious condition called "sagacity," sending Moose into a panic over his friend's health—while Reggie secretly courts Midge on the side. Midge, unaware of the prank, even gives Jughead cash to cheer Moose up with a gift, leading him to buy a dictionary and gently suggest Moose look up the word for himself.
