Poor Archie can't even mow the lawn without complications — the cover by Dan DeCarlo captures him mid-push on a bright red mower, thoroughly distracted by a vivacious redhead in a blue dress strolling past, while a dark-haired young woman arriving on the sidewalk calls out his name with unmistakable urgency. It's a perfectly breezy snapshot of Riverdale's favorite triangle in action, packed into digest format alongside interior stories including "The Rival," written by George Gladir with art by Dan Parent. Issue #150 of the Archie Digest Library is a satisfying chunk of classic Archie charm at a very 1997 $1.99.
