Archie Comics Digest #129

On this cheerful Stan Goldberg and Henry Scarpelli cover, Archie and Betty are caught off-guard by a snowman in full summer surroundings — complete with top hat, sunglasses, and a sign advertising "Have Your Picture Taken with the Snowman — $5," while a camera-toting boy in a paper crown grins nearby. Archie's exclamation of "It's PLASTIC!" says it all, hinting at a warm-weather hustle that fits right in with the digest's lead story, "Best Job on the Beach." This 1994 digest packs in plenty of Riverdale fun at a great value.
