Archie at Riverdale High #56
In "On Target," Archie and Chuck stumble upon Wally, a surprisingly skilled archer, just as Riverdale's team faces its lowest point. When Wally’s aim falters after developing a crush on Florence—whose face keeps appearing on his targets—Archie hatches a mischievous plan to redirect his focus by making Wally see Archie instead. Written by Frank Doyle and illustrated by Stan Goldberg, with inks by Jon D'Agostino, colors by Barry Grossman, and letters by Bill Yoshida, this 1978 classic captures the humor and heart of Riverdale High with a playful twist on rivalry and romance. The cover by Stan Goldberg perfectly captures the lighthearted tension of the moment.
