Archie at Riverdale High #104

The Riverdale gang trades hallways for the beach in this sun-soaked 1985 installment, with the cover — penciled by Stan Goldberg — showing Archie and his pals hard at work constructing an impressively detailed sand castle that's taken the shape of what looks like Riverdale High itself. Veronica, Betty, Jughead, and the rest of the crew are all hands on deck, armed with shovels and buckets, clearly pouring serious effort into their sandy masterpiece. It's a cheerful, energetic snapshot of the gang at their most spirited, and with a story titled "The Mystery of Hidden Cave" waiting inside, there's plenty more adventure beyond the shoreline.
