Archie Annual #14
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeThe eternal question gets put to poor Archie right on the cover of this 1962 Giant Series annual — flanked by a bright-eyed Betty on his left and a confident Veronica on his right, he's sweating bullets as both girls demand he choose between blondes and brunettes. Harry Lucey's pencils and Terry Szenics' inks capture that perfectly squirming Archie expression with real charm, making the dilemma feel both funny and completely relatable. At 25 cents, this oversized issue delivers a generous helping of Riverdale fun, with Bob Bolling handling writing, art, inking, and lettering duties throughout.

While waiting for Archie and Reggie to arrive to take them out for a date, Betty and Veronica remember the first time the boys came to pick them up to take them to a dance: they stopped to play follow-the-leader with the boys, and wound up at Ronnie's house late and muddy. In the present, the same thing happens to Archie and Reggie, but for a different reason.
