Archie #4
Archie convinces Mr. Weatherbee to organize a faculty ice-skating party on Saturday, all while secretly hoping the exhaustion will keep them from showing up for school on Monday. With a mix of charm and mischief, he sets his plan in motion—just how far will he go to score a day off?
In "Takes Two to Tangle!", Archie and Reggie go head-to-head in a boxing match to settle who gets to take Veronica to the dance, with Reggie emerging the quick victor. Determined to prove himself, Archie hits the gym with Jughead for some last-minute training. At the dance, armed with newfound confidence, Archie tries to claim Veronica—only to realize she never showed up with Reggie at all.
In "Rough Remorse!", Archie and Reggie plot to give Jughead a beating for tattling to the teacher, waiting behind a billboard with grins ready. But when Jughead never shows up, their confidence fades—and their smugness gives way to uneasy worry, wondering if something went wrong.
In "Phone Flub," Archie tries to stir up jealousy in Veronica with a cleverly staged phone call—only to have his plan unravel when a repairman arrives to fix the very pay phone that’s been out of order all day.
