Aquaman #4
In "Echoes of a Life Lived Well," Aquaman and Mera stand together at a turning point, as the victory over Ocean Master gives way to a new chapter for Atlantis. With Mera leading the shift from monarchy to democracy and Orm’s followers welcomed into the fold, the tide turns not just in war, but in purpose. When Princess Andy reappears, a sudden threat looms—only to reveal itself as a clever ruse, orchestrated by Aquaman to gather their closest allies for a heartfelt, surprise wedding celebration. Written by Kelly Sue DeConnick and brought to life by Miguel Mendonça’s expressive art and Romulo Fajardo Jr.’s vivid colors, this issue captures a rare moment of quiet joy amid the sea of conflict. The cover by Robson Rocha and Daniel Henriques beautifully frames the emotional weight and hope of the moment.
