Aquaman #3
In "Amnesty, Part 4: Strange Beasts," Aquaman confronts the shocking return of Tristram Maurer—believed dead for two centuries—on Amnesty Island, where a mysterious sea beast has left destruction in its wake. As Mera and her Atlantean forces close in, searching for the attacker of an ancient Atlantean site, the long-awaited reunion between Mera and Aquaman is cut short by a sudden, brutal assault from Black Manta. Written by Kelly Sue DeConnick and illustrated by Robson Rocha, Eduardo Pansica, and Daniel Henriques, with colors by Sunny Gho and letters by Clayton Cowles, this issue blends ancient secrets and underwater tension, all framed by a cover by Robson Rocha and Daniel Henriques.
