In "Amnesty, Part 4: Strange Beasts," Aquaman confronts the lingering mystery of Tristram Maurer, a man long thought dead, on the isolated shores of Amnesty Island. As Mera and her Atlantean forces close in, searching for the attacker of a sacred site, the fragile moment between Arthur and Mera is shattered by Black Manta’s sudden assault.

In "Amnesty, Part 6: Manta vs. Machine," Black Manta unleashes his Mecha Manta upon Amnesty Bay, forcing Mera to defend the town alone with her Aquakinesis. When Aquaman regains consciousness, he joins forces with Maurer’s sea monster form, but it’s only through the combined strength of Aqualad and Mera that the tide begins to shift.

In the aftermath of the battle at Amnesty Bay, Aquaman races to Atlantis with Mera, who lies unconscious after pushing her powers to their limit. As friends and allies gather in concern, they learn Mera is healing—but not before a startling revelation: she has given birth to their daughter, born early but strong, and Aquaman is now a father.

In "Dark Clouds," Aquaman and Aqualad face off against the absurdly named Sea Daddy, a minor villain whose defeat leaves behind a mess threatening to ruin Amnesty Bay's Founder's Day Festival. As the city scrambles to save the celebration, Aquaman juggles repairs and the growing worry of his missing dog, all while keeping a watchful eye on the sea’s shifting moods.
