In "A Walk-On Part in the War," Aquaman journeys to Anton Geist to help Mera—now unable to breathe underwater—regain her oceanic abilities, but their mission takes a sudden turn when Anton transforms into an OMAC. Written by John Arcudi and brought to life by Leonard Kirk’s dynamic art, with inks by Andy Clarke and colors by Nathan Eyring, the story unfolds across the deep and the shore as chaos erupts. Cover by Patrick Gleason and Christian Alamy captures the intensity of the moment.

Aquaman takes Mera, who can now only breathe air, to Anton Geist so he can give her water-breathing powers like he did for the residents of Sub Diego. When Anton suddenly turns into an OMAC the battle rages from under the ocean and onto the beach before Koryak shows up and destroys the OMAC.
