Issue four of Matt Kindt and Tyler Jenkins's Apache Delivery Service closes out the series with a cover that crackles with strange menace — a lone figure staggers and recoils as a cascade of marked gold coins rains down around them, each stamped with runic or symbolic markings that feel both ancient and ominous. Tyler Jenkins's muted, shadowy palette (colors by Hilary Jenkins) gives the scene a dream-logic tension, the orange of the series logo providing the only warm anchor against the dark. It's a striking send-off image for one of Dark Horse's more intriguingly offbeat 2022 offerings.
