Part of Marvel's 2006 Annihilation event, this second chapter of the four-issue Ronan limited series opens on a brooding, atmospheric cover by Gabriele Dell'Otto — the Accuser himself hunched low in shadow, his great warhammer gripped before him and glowing eyes cutting through the murk with quiet menace. It's a portrait of a warrior worn down but far from broken, radiating the kind of contained fury that makes Ronan such a compelling figure.
