Annihilation #6

The six-issue Annihilation limited series reaches its conclusion with "Finale," the grand closing chapter from writer Keith Giffen and artist Andrea DiVito, with colors by Laura Villari. Gabriele Dell'Otto's cover is a striking image of Nova — battered armor crackling with white energy, a second armored figure looming behind him — conveying a hero who has been pushed to his absolute limit and is still standing. It's a fittingly intense send-off for one of Marvel's most ambitious cosmic sagas of 2007.
