Eric Gapstur's cover art is visceral and striking, the restrained ferocity of that muzzle suggesting something barely contained rather than truly controlled. Marguerite Bennett's "Lex Machina: Part 2" continues AfterShock's world of awakened animals, and this issue makes it unmistakably clear that civilization, for these creatures, is a very thin veneer.
