The Warner siblings are at it again — Yakko, Wakko, and Dot are gleefully perched in an apple tree while a very dazed man sits buried under a mountain of fallen red apples, a star-burst impact still glowing on his head. Dot's quip that she "just loves a man in curls" and Yakko's musing that this doesn't taste like a Fig Newton perfectly capture the mischievous charm that made Animaniacs such a delight in 1995. Peter Hastings and Dana Kurtin's script, brought to life by artist George Wildman and inker Scott McRae, promises the kind of zany, wordplay-driven comedy fans of the animated series absolutely lived for.
