“Pyjama-Rama!”

Dot Warner has apparently decided her "pet" makes the perfect icebreaker — the cover of Animaniacs #32 (December 1997) shows her cheerfully introducing a massive, drooling green dragon to a pair of terrified kids who are scrambling across a couch in sheer panic. Cover pencils by Leonardo Batic and inks by Rubén Torreiro bring a wonderfully elastic energy to the scene, with the beast's enormous jaws and outstretched claws filling nearly the entire page while Dot looks on with breezy innocence. It's a perfectly Animaniacs moment — chaotic, funny, and just a little dangerous — setting up the "Pyjama-Rama!" story inside from writers Jennifer Moore and Sean Carolan.
