Angel: Old Friends #1

"Infiltration," the first issue of IDW's Angel: Old Friends, brings Gunn on a mission to the mountains to convince Angel to return to L.A. after a series of killings point to a vampire who bears an uncanny resemblance to Spike. Written by Jeff Mariotte and illustrated by David Messina and Elena Casagrande, with inks by both and colors by Davide Amici, the story unfolds with a tense, grounded mystery. The cover by David Messina captures the isolation and urgency of Gunn’s journey.
