DC's resident fourth-wall-demolishing prankster gets his own six-issue miniseries with this September 2008 opener from writers Keith Giffen and Robert Loren Fleming. The cover, rendered by J. H. Williams III, fills the frame with Ambush Bug's green, antenna-sporting head looming large against a chaotic backdrop of punctuation marks and expletive symbols — his goggled eyes even reflecting the DC logo — while a crowd of tiny DC characters swarms at the bottom. It's a perfectly anarchic first impression for a character who has always treated the DCU as his personal playground.
