Amazing X-Men #13

Sporting the playful title "Charm School," this 2015 Marvel issue pairs the teleporting acrobatics of Nightcrawler — blue-skinned and leaping in his striking red-and-black suit — with a white-uniformed X-Man soaring confidently behind him, while a snarling green-skinned figure crackles with fiery energy at the center of a crumbling urban scene. Nick Bradshaw's cover compositions have a real kinetic energy, and this one delivers plenty of it, with debris flying and powers flaring in every corner of the image. With James Tynion IV writing and Jorge Jiménez on interior art backed by Rachelle Rosenberg's colors, there's a strong creative team behind whatever "charm" this particular lesson has to offer.
