"The End of Spider-Man!" marks a pivotal moment in the web-slinger’s saga, spotlighting a desperate Joe Smith—just an average man pushed to extremes—transformed into a violent force after a lab accident. As Norman Osborn offers a bounty on Spider-Man’s head, Peter Parker struggles to stay one step ahead of relentless attackers, all while narrowly avoiding a fateful encounter with Mary Jane. Written by Stan Lee and Steve Ditko, with Ditko handling art, inks, and even the cover, this gripping tale blends personal tragedy with high-stakes action in a story that remains a cornerstone of Spider-Man’s legacy.
