Amazing Spider-Man #1.5

Part five of "Amazing Grace" arrives with a cover that pulls you right into Spider-Man's masked face — low, intense, and framed by what looks like fire and smoke in the background. Simone Bianchi's cover pencils and inks give the wall-crawler's eyes a cold, determined gleam, his gloved hands splayed forward as if he's crouching through something harrowing. It's a fittingly moody cap to a story arc whose very subtitle — "Flesh and Heart Shall Fail" — signals that writer Jose Molina has taken Spidey somewhere genuinely unsettling.
