Amazing Spider-Man #1.3
Part three of "Amazing Grace" arrives with a cover by Simone Bianchi that makes the most of a vertiginous, looking-up perspective — Spider-Man swings directly toward the viewer, webs trailing through the Manhattan skyline in graceful arcs, the city's cabs and rooftops receding dramatically below. Bianchi's painterly rendering gives the red-and-blue suit a richly textured depth, with the silver chest spider catching the light beautifully. Writer Jose Molina's arc continues to build intrigue, and this penultimate chapter — subtitled "Dangers, Toils and Snares" — promises the kind of momentum that makes you want the next issue immediately.
